"Leaving Eden" is a psychedelic and blissfull follow up to the earliest albums of Antimatter. It is almost a one man show since Duncan Patterson left the band. But this album is as melancholic and ambient as the other albums of Antimatter. "Leaving Eden" features the guest appearance of Danny Cavanagh from Anathema in lead guitars and piano. "Leaving Eden" has endearing vocals and acoustic based tracks. The many guitar solos, extensive use of acoustic guitars and atmospheric riffs on "Leaving Eden" leaves a sense of melancholy in the atmosphere while listening to the album. The piano and violin achieve to raise the emotions of the listener. "Leaving Eden" is one of those albums whose greatness is revealed by listening to it as a whole from the beginning to the end, making it difficult to choose some special moments individually. Suggested to melancholic/dark music fans and especially those who favor bands such as Anathema and Pink Floyd.
